Adam Sanders

Consultant

Adam Sanders, Consultant, joined TDC in 2021, bringing extensive managerial and leadership experience in arts and culture. Adam’s practice includes strategic business planning projects, support for TDC’s foundation clients, and financial and organizational analysis as a part of TDC’s sector-wide research engagements.

Prior to TDC, Adam served as the Managing Director of Commonwealth Shakespeare Company, a nonprofit theater organization that produces free Shakespeare on the Boston Common and has extensive educational programming. Prior to assuming the role of Managing Director, Adam served as CSC’s Associate Artistic Director and Academy Director, as well as the Associate Director of the Sorenson Center for the Arts at Babson College. Adam is a member of the board of StageSource, the arts service organization for the New England theater community. Adam holds a BA in English from University of Massachusetts, Amherst, an MA in Theater Education from Emerson College, and an MBA from Babson College.
