For ten years, TDC has been the area's key provider of affordable training for nonprofits. We offer a range of courses that introduce participants to management concepts and practices, and help them to build skills in areas such as governance, human resources, resource development and financial management.
Neither an academic research center that focuses on theory, nor a corporate training center that doesn't understand the nonprofit sector, we see our primary audience as the staff and board of New England's divers nonprofit sector, who need practical, easily accessible solutions to real-life management problems. TDC recognizes that many nonprofit managers bring strong program skills but typically lack the managerial skills their positions require.
In addition to its highly regarded public training program, we can bring many of its workshops on-site. TDC works with nonprofits to customize its extensive curriculum inventory tailoring the content to meet the organization's individual needs.
